Doug was husband of Mavis (deceased),father to Gary and John, father-in-law to Jan and Debbie, Grandfather of Donna, Sharyn, Melissa and Darren, Great Grandfather of Courtney, Jacob, Jesse, Zac, Olivia and Sienna, friend, neighbour and colleague to many. He lived an exemplary life, had a long and rewarding career working at Myer. Even when in ill health he always said "I'm OK". Aside from his dedication to his family, he quietly lived the Rechabite lifestyle and supporting others.
