      Bailey-Coker.
A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Paul's Cathedral on the 18th of December by the Rev. Barlee. The contracting parties were Mr. W. H. Bailey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bailey, "Camara," Southport, and Miss Constance Coker, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Coker, "Granvilla," William-street. The bride was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Lily Hick (chief) and Miss Myra Coker. Mr. John Dally was in attendance as best man, and Mr. Peter Bailey as groomsman. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dainty frock of ivory chiffon taffeta, lightly veiled with silk tulle, the bodice almost entirely of lace and tulle. The train falling from the shoulders was also of tulle and chiffon taffeta. Her tulle veil was arranged in the court style, with a mop cap effect, and orange blossoms, and she carried a beautiful bouquet of white roses, stephanotis, and fern, tied with white satin streamers, the gift of the bridegroom. The bride's gift to the bridegroom was a gold albert, and the bridegroom's gift to the bride was a handsome dressing case. The bridesmaids were attired in pretty frocks of ivory georgette over net and lace, with clusters of lavender and pink buds, and wore hats to match. They also carried baskets of flowers composed of dahlias and roses, tied with lavender streamers, and wore gold Nellie Stewart bangles, the gifts of the bridegroom. After the ceremony the wedding party adjourned to the residence of the bride's parents, where the wedding breakfast was held. As the bridal party entered the house the Flying Squadron Orchestra (of which the bridegroom is a member) played the Wedding March. They left later by train for Southport, where the honeymoon is being spent, the bride travelling in a tailor-made gabardine coat and skirt and hat to match. The presents were numerous and costly, including many cheques.
